FotoWeek DC!

We stopped by the kickoff party of the 8th annual FotoWeekDC Festival at FotoWeekCentral, the former residence of the Spanish Ambassador. We snapped Smartthings' Eliot Stein, GW's Julyssa Lopez, Ankur Aggarwal, and OM Digital's Quin Hulamm.

The evening kicked off a week-long series of dynamic and diverse exhibitions, installations, film screenings and lectures. Here, E&Y's Lily Wang, IBM's Lily Sahn and EJF Capital's Ellie Keen.

Between art installations, guests enjoyed hard cider tastings and dancing. Here, Veracity Media's Ryan Morgan, Surprise Ride's Grace Teng, Amelia Strays and Alex Lee.

FotoDC is a nonprofit providing exposure for photographers and making high-quality photography accessible to audiences. Tonight and tomorrow night, the Holocaust Memorial Museum will project images onto its exterior walls of religious and ethnic minorities persecuted in Iraq. Here, Ali Dietz, Dot Sheridan and Amanda Tyler.

Travis Holler & Merjan Bubernack contributed to this issue.
