FotoDC Champagne Soirée!

Tuesday, we went to the FotoDC STYLE Competition Winner Champagne Soirée at Paul Stuart. We snapped the two grand prize winners, Contempo Kids Photography’s Malek Naz Freidouni and Sallie Keena Photography’s Sallie Keena, with Brightest Young Things’ Svetlana Legetic.

FotoDC partnered with CityCenterDC for the spring photo competition, named FotoDC: STYLE. The winning photographs are on display in a special outdoor exhibition at CityCenterDC now through August, steps away from Paul Stuart. Here, FotoDC STYLE Competition honorable mention winner Magee Mcilvaine of Magee’s Camera is flanked by Kelly Grogg and Stacey Lobatos.

Following the champagne party for the competition winners, guests enjoyed the opening of the outdoor exhibition as well as extended happy hour specials at Momofuku and DBGB. Here, Paul Stuart’s Harley White and Bret Pittman.

The annual FotoWeekDC festival presents dynamic and provocative exhibitions, programs and events. Through local and international collaborations, FotoWeekDC brings world-class photography to D.C. and provides exposure for photographers working worldwide. The spring competition is for D.C. photographers, while the fall competition (celebrated with FotoWeekDC from Nov. 10-15) is for entrants from across the globe.
