With gun violence becoming ever-too-common these days, Beuchert’s and chef Andrew Markert, the mastermind of the event, wanted to do his part to take action and bring awareness to this issue, so he got in touch with his friends in the DC culinary community, each of whom was on-board immediately after receiving the call.
