We went to a book party at the beautiful Dupont home of Esther Coopermith, in honor of the new book by her son, Texas A&M history prof Jonathan Coopersmith: Faxed: The Rise and Fall of the Fax Machine. We snapped them with the organizer, PEN/Faulkner EVP Willee Lewis, who introduced the author before his remarks. The book tells the story of a marvelous invention made obsolete by technological innovation.
