We also went to the Embassy of Italy Saturday evening for the second annual Mid-Atlantic Lambos fashion event to benefit Fashion for the Cure. We snapped DC-based models Irene Romero, Darcy Tharp, Sara Bell, and Kimberly Meder in some of the night’s fashions.

Maria Piazzola and her father Nick Piazzola are about to open an Italian restaurant together called Arturo’s Trattoria. They’re bookending Patio Day Spa owner Patty Markos and screenwriter Flora Scott. Before the fashion show, there was a reception to meet industry professionals.

VIP ticket holders took home a bottle of imported Virgani Rosso from Italy. There were passed hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Here, Klinger & Associates’ John Aks is bookended by Ernst & Young’s Jade Salvador and her mother Rhonda, who’s visiting from Louisiana.

There was music by DJ Octane; sponsors included Runway France and Focus on Women magazines. Here, Suren Dovdon, Degi Gombojav, House Credit Union’s Maureen Mulima, and Fox Ventures’ Joyce Mnkande.
