Last night we also went to the Acela Club in the Verizon Center for Bright Stars Evening at the Ringling Bros Circus benefitting Easter Seals. Over 200 kids and parents chomped mac n cheese, fries and salad while mingling with performers before the Big Show. Goody bags had stuffed elephants, fun hats, and glasses with clown noses. Here, the Hughes family,Marcela, five-year-old twins Philip and Alexander, and Rogers Consultings Phil,are with Ringmaster Johnathan Lee Iverson, the first African-American with that position in a major circus.
