Drink the District!

We took advantage of the beautiful spring weather and joined a fun loving crowd for Drink the District’s Cherry Blossom Beer and Wine Festival near Nats Park. More than 50 wines and 30 beers were available for sampling from breweries such as Dogfish Head Brewery and wineries like Donati Family Vinyard from Templeton, CA. We snapped General Dynamics’ Stefan Traylor, Katie Cole-Kelly, Smoketown Animal Hospital’s Megan Fowler and Applebrooke Veterinary Clinic’s Jesse Robinson.

Some of DC’s best food trucks lined the festival, such as Corned Beef King, Curbside Cupcakes and Captain’s Cookies. Here DC Court’s Michael Coleman, Brighton’s Sierra Robinson, Northrop Grumman’s Evan Sippel, BBB’s Allie Ditzel and MedStar’s Andrew McLaughlin.

Cornhole was one of the many drinking games around but our favorite was the life-sized beer pong played with a volleyball and trash cans. Here the MGP Retail Consulting crew: Tristan White, Blake Curleman, Bernie Susskind, Damon Colella and Jeff Bell.

Property Group Partners' Steve Smith and Caleb Dorsch, NASA’s Bryant O’Brien, University of MD’s Ryan Lienesch and doctor Megan O’Brien.

Heather Mahoney, Travis Holler and Casie Kiel contributed to this issue.
