Do More 24 Gala!

Last night we also went to United Way NCA's Do More 24 Celebration Gala at Dock 5 in Union Market, part of a daylong fundraising campaign by the whole community to address the region’s most pressing social needs. We snapped United Way's Chris Preston, next Board chair Deloitte's Gary Tabach, Dewey Square Group's Elise Shutzer, and current Board chair Altamira CEO Ted Davies.

Do More 24 day raised over $1.4M with 11,394 donor gifts for 600 participating nonprofits, which received donations and were eligible to win cash awards for most dollars raised and donors participating. The 24-hour marathon of online giving coalesced with the gala, a community-wide Shoebox Decorating Project Party and a Mentoring Recruiting Fair. Here, Razoo's Bethany Natoli, AAPS' Mary Joe Bean and United Way's Roxy Harris.
