District Sample Sale!

To date, it's donated over 1 million diapers. We snapped Gilt City’s Marissa Schneider, Pure Barre’s Marybeth Coleman and BrandLinkDC’s Allix Wright.

More than 700 people enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from top restaurants while shopping deeply discounted designer clothing, shoes and accessories from great boutiques. Here, Federal Realty’s Danielle Bolger, PR at Partners’ Natasha Laws and Varnish Lane’s Lauren Dunne.

There was a luxury silent auction and raffle to raise funds for DC Diaper Bank, fashion-filled goodie bag for VIP tickets, and music by DJ Neekola. Here, the guys who sold the raffle tickets: Madison Services Group’s John Stanford, Congressional staffer Dave O’Brien, government contractor John Farrell, and Global Intellectual Property Center’s Jared Parks and Andrew Kovalcin.

Since 2006, the District Sample Sale has raised more than $315k for local women’s and children’s charities. Here, Chaplin’s Ari and Micah Wilder, the brother duo behind the new cocktail bar inspired by the silent movie star, flank restaurant consultant Gina Dakkouni; at right, Mate’s Hamza Hadani and chef Uga Khayan.
