This weekend, we headed to the ninth annual Dinner on Stage at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre. Woolly Mammoth, known for its original and provocative productions, hosted its unique, black-tie dinner right on its stage. We snapped co-chairs David Cohen and Elizabeth Friedman with US Secretary of the Army Erik Fanning.
The evening started with cocktails backstage, where guests were surrounded by props from a recent show, Octoroon. We ate bites of mushroom tarts, duck wontons and ahi tuna and mingled with Woolly fans and supporters. Here, judge Kate O'Malley, Convington & Burling's George Pappas and Kevin Collins, and Johns Hopkins Hospital's Julia Miller.
On stage, guests were admiring the beautifully decorated props from past shows as centerpieces, while enjoying a three-course dinner of lobster bisque, roasted pear salad and sirloin with rosemary dijon jus. Here, Hagen Inc's Wendy Hagen, Merrill Lynch's Nancy Hartsock and Syngenta's Sarah Hull.
