DC Shorts Festival Luncheon!

On Wednesday afternoon, we headed to The Loft in Chinatown for a special luncheon on behalf of the DC Shorts Film Festival and Screenplay Competition. We snapped festival co-directors Joe Bilancio and Derek Horne, who spoke to us about how this year's festival will have themes for each different showcase's programming.

The DC Shorts Film Festival has grown to be one of the largest short film festivals on the East Coast and is recognized all around the world as a top-tiered festival. Here are DC Shorts' publicists, Travis Hare and Kendra Rubinfeld.

This year's festival will run from Sept. 8 to 18 and feature 18 unique film showcases, including a mix of animation, dramas, comedies, thrillers and documentaries. Here, DC Shorts interns Nick Leininger and Sofia Rubin surround director of development Paul Marengo.
