We headed to the Hamilton Live for DC Jazz Fest's Benefit Gala.
It raised funds for The DC Jazz Festival, an annual event with more than 100 jazz performances at concert venues and clubs throughout DC. We snapped Rep. William Clay, DC Jazz Fest Chairman Conrad Kenley and Rep. John Conyers Jr., who presented the advocacy award in his name.
At the VIP cocktail reception: DC Jazz Fest Artistic Director Willard Jenkins joins honorees Microsoft gov affairs director Stephanie Peters, Sage Communications COO David Gorodetsk, and Venable partner and DC Jazz Fest Board member Claude Bailey.
Guests dined on filet mignon and crab cakes for dinner and enjoyed a special performance from GRAMMY award winner Patti Austin and the Howard University Jazz Ensemble.
