DC & Beijing!

We went to the Sister Cities-sponsored Design@+ exhibit opening reception at Powerhouse in Georgetown. We snapped law prof Ramu de Bellescize, Innovation Network’s Katherine Haugh, and US Embassy New Delhi’s Jonathan Ward.

The reception was the start of a week-long celebration of design to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Sister Cities relations between DC and Beijing. Here, CP Global Capital’s Serenity Wang with Jose Pulido and Jintai Art Museum’s Henry Yuan.

The exhibit includes 80 contemporary designs by designers in DC and Beijing of furniture, products, fashion, graphics, and digital and interactive design. It runs through July 11. Here, d'Oro PRIVE’s Angel Nicole, Chanel Essence, and Nyssa Aramis.
