Daybreaker!

This morning we went to Flash Nightclub in Shaw for DC's first-ever DAYBREAKER, an early morning dance party, intense workout and mood booster. It was co-hosted by DC's Grip the Mat; here, co-founders Christy Skarulis and Ashley Braun.

DAYBREAKER has a huge following for its early morning events in NYC, San Francisco, LA, and even London and Amsterdam. Today, 250 fun-loving Washingtonians came out at 6am to enjoy an alcohol-free DJ'd yoga class and dance party.

DAYBREAKER plans to host one event per month in DC. We snapped Barre3's Meredith Kaufman and Kathryn Quijano.

Venga's Winslow Marshall and Coper Vision's Mike Collins. Even though this was DC's first Daybreaker, all the tickets sold out in two days.

Travis Holler & Laura Bellantoni contributed to this issue.
