For Women's History Month, we headed to the happiest place in DC, the Royal Danish Embassy, for the Initiative to Educate Afghan Women reception. We snapped reception co-chair Christine Warnke, Danish Ambassador Lars Gert Lose, his wife, Ulla Rønberg, reception co-chair John McCarthy, Afghan Ambassador Hamdullah Mohib, his wife, Lael Mohib, and the Initiative to Educate Afghan Women's executive director Christian Wistehuff.
The Initiative to Educate Afghan Women furthers women's education in Afghanistan and provides scholarships for students to study in the US.
