Junior Council of Children’s National Health System hosted the event of 500 young professionals, emerging leaders and children’s health advocates gathering to raise money for local children. The main event featured drinks and hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, the Nightsong Band and Dr. Bear, the Children’s National mascot. Since 2008, Dancing After Dark and the Junior Council have raised nearly $1M to help Children’s National provide the most sophisticated, personalized and compassionate care for every child in need, regardless of the family’s ability to pay.
