Cycle for Survival!

On Sunday we went to Equinox Bethesda for Cycle for Survival, a team cycling event benefiting Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. We snapped its Dr. David Solit (right) with top fundraisers, Team Perry: Anne and Larry Zimmerman, and sister-in-law Mary Lou Collins, riding for Perry, recovering from cancer.

Since starting in 07 as a small event in NY, its raised $26Mfor new treatments for patients with rare cancers. Here, Team CharityChicksUS: U.S. Chamber of Commerces Jennifer Pierotti, Pink Palms Kara Tabb and Laura Gaiser, Vocuss Angie Jusino, IIFs Leah Davis, AFPs Stephanie Fontenot, CharityChicksUS founder Elizabeth Kane, and True Line Publishings Heather Darzs.

Cycle for Survival has become a national movement and is expected to bring 13,000 people in 10 cities this winter. Here, Team Ezras Elyce Levin, Marilyn Brody, Doug Homer, and Dana Chirumbole.
