Cocktails & the Capitol!

Last night we went to 101 Constitution to join supporters of the National Council for Adoption with cocktails overlooking the Capitol.

We snapped the evening's emcee, former Fox News chief national correspondent Jim Angle surrounded by Abby Blunt (wife of Sen. Roy Blunt) and NCFA vice-chair Stacey Reynolds (wife of Cardinal Bank president Kevin Reynolds), both of whom are major supporters of NCFA's work to find permanent families for every child.

Everyone is excited about NCFA's upcoming gala Nov. 5 at the Mayflower, which will celebrate its 35 years building families. Here, NCFA CEO Chuck Johnson and VP Lauren Koch bookend gala chair Elizabeth Wrege.

NCFA Board chair Kevin Wrege is with the evening's hosts, Beth and Randy Russell, who told an inspirational story of how they ended up adopting their three children, who have brought so much meaning to their lives.
