Climate Leadership Gala!

Last night, we headed to the Mayflower Hotel for Earth Day Network's 2017 Climate Leadership Gala. We snapped Ann Stratte with 2017 Women and the Green Economy Leadership Award honoree Nora Pouillon, a chef, author and owner of Restaurant Nora, America’s first certified organic restaurant, with Teddy McBayAnn Yonkers and Mary Frances Koltes.

The gala brought together over 350 leaders of industry, government and the NGO community to celebrate achievements and lead the path to a post-carbon future. Here, Earth Day Network president Kathleen Rogers joins EcoAmerica's Kara Ball and environmental activist Lise Van Susteren.

Prior to the main event, we joined guests at the VIP reception, which featured an open bar and passed appetizers. Here, Neil Hawkins joins the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions' Janet Peace and Unilever's Kees Kruythoff.

During the dinner program, guests enjoyed remarks from environmental leaders while enjoying the three-course dinner featuring pan-seared halibut. Here, the American Chemical Society's David Horwitz and Lily Raines with the Embassy of Norway's Counselor for Climate and Environment, Karine Hertzberg.
