Citi Open!

We spent a fantastic weekend at the Citi Open Tennis Tournament, from Friday through Sunday, for the quarters, semis, and finals of men, women, and doubles. The weather was unbelievable, the tennis extraordinary, and the pumped-up crowds, yelling and cheering, brought passion and intensity not often associated with the sport.

We snapped McCullough Construction’s Tom McCullough and his wife Maggie with EagleBank EVP Tony Marquez and his wife Pam.

Leadership coach Jill Minneman and her husband Savills Studley’s Tom Fulcher are going on a family biking trip through Croatia. They’re with Boston Properties’ Jon Kaylor and Renee Weir, formerly of Cassidy Turley.

In the Rappaport suite, we saw its president Henry Fonvielle and VP Steve Carboni, They’re bookended by Avison Young’s Billy Morris and Transwestern’s Howard Mersky.

The State Dept’s Courtney Beale, her husband Atlas Corps founder Scott Beale, The Agora Culture’s Johnica Reed, Toi.io co-founder Nicole Patrice DeMember (a former DC-ite who's thinking of moving back), and Sen. Diane Feinstein staffer Julius Niyonsaba.

Yesterday, moments after Milos Raonic beat Vasek Pospisil 6-1, 6-4 in the first ever all-Canadian final in an ATP tour in the Open era, his name was added to the list of winners that ring the stadium.
