Chili Cook-Off!

Over the weekend we went to three outdoor food extravaganzas, enjoying fabulous food, beer and weather, starting with a Chili Cook-Off at NoMa's Wunder Garten.

We snapped the organizers, Cushman & Wakefield Project and Development Team: Jon Greenberg, Harvey Beckham, Alice Rowland, Adrian Conforti, Angela Poliskey, Alicia Massey, Tiffany Schlichting, Steve Jayjock, Brad MellorGary Helminski, and his son Holten.

Real estate professionals and their families tasted a dozen types of chili and voted on their favorite, sipped on pumpkin ale, and played cornhole. Here, Allsteel's Ayron Myers, Rachel Petri, Marissa Marnell and Kevin Fadley.

The people's choice winner: beer, bacon, bison and chocolate chili by HBW Group's Kelly Hendershot, Kara Golden, and Emma and Pat Foley.

Proceeds went to Race for Hope DC for the fight against brain tumors. Here, Finn and Partners' Sara Mars Bowie with NoMA BID's Ali Newman and Thomas Taylor.
