Last night we also went to Carnegie Library for the Chefs Take a Stand to end domestic violence soiree. We snapped the night’s emcee, ABC’s The Chew co-host and former Top Chef star Carla Hall, flanked by The World Bank’s Elizabeth Legrain, The Examiner’s Samantha Moore, National Network to End Domestic Violence’s (NNEDV) Cindy Southworth, and by Global Social Media News Services’ Lauren Reynolds.
NNEDV is a social change organization dedicated to creating a social, political, and economic environment in which there is no more violence against women. Here, Speakeasy Spirit’s Lindsay Marsh, SunTrust’s Sydnee Stein, Donna Packer-Kinlaw, and EagleBank’s Scott Kinlaw.

Guests enjoyed treats from DC’s best restaurants. Our faves: Ris’ creamy tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches.
