We went to the City Tavern Club in Georgetown Saturday for the 9th annual Chance for Life Poker Tournament for the Spinal Cord Tumor Association.
Congrats to general contractor Shaun Dunevant, who beat 200 players to win the $10,000 grand prize seat at the World Series of Poker tournament in Las Vegas. We’re excited, because he was our guest at the Bisnow table. We snapped him with Peruvian Brothers food truck owner and former Olympian Giuseppe Lanzone, the White House’s Fran Holuba, and her brother Jack Holuba.
Beginning in the afternoon, the tourney continued into a fun after-party where guests enjoyed wine tasting, silent auction, food pairings by award-winning chefs, and live music by the Doug Segree Band and DJ Dirty Hands.
