Last night we stopped by the Celebrity Chef Tour at Kapnos restaurant benefiting the James Beard Foundation.
We snapped Del Campo owner/chef Victor Albisu, the Source chef Scott Drewno, and Doi Moi chef Haidar Karoum. The Foundation provides programs to educate and entertain chefs and food enthusiasts.
Graffiato and Kapnos owner/chef Mike Isabella tells us the tour is a unique opportunity to bring together culinary styles from across the country. He’s with Sbraga owner Kevin Sbraga and the Celebrity Tour’s Jeff Black.
CORE’s Darcey Thomson and Allison Cooke flank Pfau Communications’ Amber Pfau, Washingtonian’s Anna Spiegel, and writer Kate Parham.
Kapnos chef George Pagonis, Bouchon Bakery chef Chris Ford, Zahav chef Michael Solomonov, and Toro chef Jamie Bissonnette. Duck and foie gras kebabs and split roast lamb were delish.
