There were over 3,000 attendees; we snapped three of the many dressed in traditional German garb: Fountains of Washington House’s Nadine Joslin, Bulldog PR's Greer Hunter and CISLO’s Kristen Masaccio.

Everyone enjoyed tasting authentic Bavarian bratwurst and pretzels, dancing to live Alpine folk music, and sampling beers from 65 regional breweries that set up taps serving ale and lager. Here, CHA Consulting's Jeff Miller, Team Velocity Marketing's Renee Stumin, MSL Group's Ginny Kurbjeweit, and her husband, 2U's Michael Kurbjeweit.

Capitol Cities Brewing Co served two signature beers, the Smoketoberfest and Oktoberfest Lager. Here, its crew: brewing operations director Kristi Griner, F&B director Matt Benkert and owner David von Storch; on the left, Urban Adventures Cos brand marketing manager Olivier LeRu-Riboulot.

Participating local, regional and national breweries included Starr Hill, Mad Fox, Fair Winds, Hellbender, Ocelot, Ballast Point, Firestone Walker, Blue Mountain, Green Flash, Parkway, Schlafly, St. George, Terrapin, New District, Adroit Theory, Avery and Hardywood. Here, brewers Travis Reynolds, Leon Harris, Julia Christie-Robin and Bo Elliott.

Richelle Castillo & Alfredo Flores contributed to this issue.
