Last night, we headed to DC Central Kitchen's 13th annual Capital Food Fight at the Ronald Reagan Building. Capital Food Fight brings together top local chefs for a fun and friendly cooking battle while guests enjoy delicious tastings from 75 restaurants. We snapped KSM's Kelly Morris, Ritz-Carlton's Annie Boutin King, Le Diplomate's Fabrice Bendano, Cuisine Solutions' Gerard Bertholon and Hilton's Marc Ehrler.

The four battling chefs were Beuchert's Saloon's Andrew Markert, Tico's George Rodrigues, Hank's Oyster Bar's Theary So and 1789's Samuel Kim, who took the win with his dish that included the secret ingredient, vadouvan curry popcorn. Some of our favorite plates of the night were Art and Soul's soy ginger pork belly, Ocean Prime's tuna tartare, China Chilcano's ceviche, and The Grilled Oyster Co's applewood smoked mussels. We also indulged on sweets like Good Stuff Eatery's toasted marshmallow shake, Captain Cookie's ice cream sandwiches, and Sticky Finger's mini pumpkin whoopie pies.
