Bergen’s film credits include The Sand Pebbles, Carnal Knowledge, Starting Over and Miss Congeniality; she won five Emmy Awards for long-running TV show Murphy Brown, which became controversial during the '92 presidential campaign because she played an unwed mother.

Bergen's with the moderator, NPR News executive editor Madhulika Sikka. During the talk, she shared with humor the big events of her life: marriage to French director Louis Malle, the birth of her daughter Chloe, widowhood, and falling in love again.
