Cafe Deluxe!

Last night we also went to an opening party for the West End Cafe Deluxe at 22nd and M, in the new Hilton Garden Inn, its fifth in the DC region. The owner, Brian Sullivan, grew up here, went to Prep and Georgetown, and got interested in the hospitality business when he worked at Marriott, before buying the original restaurant. We snapped him bookended by his executive chef Juan Valdez and by Miriam Kitchen’s Ashley Lawson, who received a donation, as did DC Central Kitchen.
