Last night we also went to a night of Bulgarian culture at the Embassy of Bulgaria. Its diplomats Tsanko Stoykov, Ivo Konstantinov and Luba Georgieva welcomed guests and talked about their country's rich history.

We were wowed by Bulgarian music and performers showcasing native dances. Here, Rotaract Club's Hristo Bakardzhiev, Montgomery Office of Public Information's Lorna Virbili, Matrix Realty's Ilse Padron, Gvera's Garima Singh, and CGI's Nabina Panta.

Guests enjoyed a Bulgarian dinner of sopska salad, sari, chicken kebab, and spinach pie, with baklava and sweet cheese pie for dessert. Here, American University's Paula Tabares, Shu Yi Tang, Simen Barmoen, and Julianne Rizzotti.

We also sipped special Bulgarian wine that's not available in the US. Here, Bronto Resource Group's Mick MacDonald and C Arnold, and Ivan Velev.
