Building a School!

We're excited and proud to tell you that the commercial real estate community has joined together to raise $25k to build a school in Guatemala through Pencils of Promise. We heard from the non-profits founder, Adam Braun, at a recent gathering we held of top real estate execs in Miami, and we want to thank the following generous folks for each contributing $2,500: Bruce & Kate Baschuk,Robert Bellinger &Natalie Wilensky, Jim Bachner, David & Kim Kessler, Jesse Garchik, Arlene & Bob Begelman, Herb & Ben Miller, Bob Murphy & Gigi Webb, and the Bisnow family. Plus, nine others gave several hundred each to make up the last slot, including four great guys on our staff: Graham Cohen, Aram Taghavi, Michael Farber, and Ryan Begelman. We will keep you up to date with pictures of the school as its being built. Thanks again to everyone!
