Tuesday, we went to the eighth annual Buckley Awards Ceremony at the Capitol Hill Club. Here, Forge Leadership Network Executive Director and Buckley Award winner Adam Josefczyk with his wife, Jessica.

The awards are named after William F. Buckley Jr., founder of the National Review Magazine and a leader of the early conservative movement. In his honor, awards began as a way to recognize outstanding young professional conservatives for their above-and-beyond service to the movement. Here, Buckley Award winner Ashlea Frazier, director of programs for Hillsdale College Kirby Center, with her husband, Allen Frazier.

The awards were originally founded and organized by the Young Conservatives Coalition from 2010-2016, and this year marked the first run by the America’s Future Foundation. Here, Buckley Award winners — Conservative Book Club Editor-in-Chief Christopher Malagisi and Alliance Defending Freedom legal counsel Kerri Kupec.

These young leaders are recognized for leading or organizing a significant grass-roots or high-profile initiative, advancing conservative principles or young conservative activism, impacting news coverage of a high-profile issue or displaying courage under fire.
