Last night we also went to the 16th annual Celebration of Service to America Awards presented by the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation at the National Building Museum. Paul Simon gave a special performance; he was also honored with the Service America Leadership Award for his work with children’s health.
NABEF strengthens the future of broadcasting through education, diversity, and community service. The gala recognized the public service commitment of broadcasters around the country. We snapped NAB president Gordon Smith and his wife Sharon with FCC commissioner Ajit Pai.
