Brewer's Ball!

We went to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's 10th annual Brewer's Ball at the National Building Museum Saturday night and snapped retired Marine Charles Egerton, his wife Emily O'Leary Egerton, and Ball chairman Dennis O'Leary.

Over 35 breweries and 25 restaurants participated for a tremendous cause. We enjoyed beer cocktails like Founding Farmers' Greyhawk: white beer, house-made raspberry syrup, and Titos vodka. Here, Quintiks' Joanna Conroy with Congressman Billy Long, who served as the auctioneer.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation raises money to fund research for a cure for CF, a genetic, life-threatening disease that affects 30,000 people in the US. Here, Kristin Hackenson, Sam Sams, and GWU's Kim Snead.

Beers included 3 Stars' The Movement (American Pale Ale), Bluejacket's Twit (Sour Witbier), and Heavy Seas Ale House's Loose Cannon. Here, CFF's Alex Beck, SP Plus' Freddy Valencia, Allagash Brewing Co.'s Suzanne Woods, Scott Beck, and Mark Roccato.
