Brew at the Zoo!

We snapped Clark Construction's Michael Johnsen, Tyler Shawcross and Christine Taylor enjoying a beer from Port City Brewing. This year featured over 70 craft beers and ciders to taste.

Guests enjoyed live music, lawn games and a variety of food trucks. Here, government contractor Michael Husich and dietitian Kara Schneider join NAHB's Chelsea Vetick, Mike Sutton and Whitney Mitchell.

At the VIP area, guests enjoyed private views of the lions and tigers while enjoying samplings from some of DC's best restaurants. We loved the pork and grits from Smoke & Barrel. Here, Fintrac's Alex Beizan, Ian Stanley and Jessica Joye.

Proceeds from the event benefit animal care and conservation science at the National Zoo. Here, DropBox's Donovan Bass, USAID's Meredith Street, Acendre's Nick Caligiuri, educator Annie Meyer, and FONZ supporters Kate Bowman and Evan Decorte.
