There were so many great events over the weekend, we still have some to share! We started at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s 12th annual Breath of Life Gala Saturday at the National Building Museum.
The black tie affair raised funds for cystic fibrosis research and care. Silent auction items included a four night stay anywhere in the world and autographed sports memorabilia. Here, Jewish Women International’s Ellen Winston, Frazier Forbes’ Bruce Winston, IDG’s Steve Coniglio and his wife, Wink Boutique’s Ashleigh.
Over $2.4M was raised through auctions and sponsorships. Here, Carr Properties’ Barry Bass, Bullis School’s Pam Bass and auctioneer Robin Treadway, who drove up bidding on items like a 1978 Chevrolet Corvette and a trip to Tuscany.
Local band Marquise headlined the Club Breath after party. The theme was old time carnival and included sideshow acts, a delicacy candy station and carnival games. Here, CFF board member Joan Holmer, board chairman Alan Holmer, Evers & Co. Realty’s Tracy Tkac and NorthMarq’s Frank Relihan.
