Bravo, Jose!

Last night we went to Jaleo to celebrate its 20th anniversary and salute super chef Jose Andres.

We snapped the chef with ThinkFoodGroup CEO Rob Wilder, who opened the tapas bar in Penn Quarter 20 years ago with Jose and partner Roberto Alvarez, revitalizing the neighborhood, transforming downtown DC and, by introducing us to small plates, changing how we eat.

The restaurant was packed with folks paying homage to Jose, not only for his cooking, but for all his work with DC Central Kitchen. We snapped US Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor and Jaleo's head chef Ramon Martinez.
