Friday night, we headed to The Barns at Wolf Trap for Bourbon, Bowties, and Blues!

The special tasting social event was in support of the programs and performances at Wolf Trap. We snapped the Washington Nationals' Matt Lemire and his wife, Caroline Lemire, with DC United's Maureen Dowling and the Washington Nationals' Zach Galkin.

The event featured six bourbon-tasting stations with bourbon experts on hand to answer questions and make recommendations. Here, Wolf Trap supporter Nancy Clark joins Wolf Trap's Adrienne Laborwit with Wolf Trap associate board member Brian Clark.

Guests were treated to bourbon cocktails as they arrived and an open bar during the reception. Here, Wolf Trap associate board member Kim Stewart joins associate board member and Nossaman LLP's Reed Neuman and his wife, Pat Neuman.

During the reception, guests enjoyed an array of passed hors d'oeuvres including delicious "sugar and spice shrimp." Here, Wolf Trap supporters Bill and Rae Ann Knopf with The Bourbon Source's Jared Hyman.

Throughout the evening, guests participated in a silent auction featuring a one-week stay in Kona Hawaii and several rare bourbons. Here, MorganFranklin Consulting's C.E. Andrews and his wife, Jean Andrews, join Patty Reed and her husband, NT Concepts president Craig Reed.

Following the opening remarks and Bourbon 101 overview, guests began the tastings while also enjoying a BBQ buffet. Here, Wolf Den Associates' Wesley Austin, Aaron Criswell with Blue Delta Capital Partners' Darren Appanah and Wolf Den's Ken Berkowitz.
