Milestone Communications founder Len Forkas, author of What Spins the Wheel: Leadership Lessons from our Race for Hope was hosted for a book party by Alliance Bernstein. In 2002, his 9-year-old son was diagnosed with cancer, and the next year, Len founded Hopecam, a charity that connects children with cancer to friends at school using webcams and tablet computers. In 2012, he competed in Race Across America, racing his bicycle 3000 miles in 11 days, and raising $300k for Hopecam to connect 360 children in 37 states. The book chronicles his adventures and lessons learned. He’s signing a book for Deloitte’s Brandon Collins.
