We went to the very first Bluegrass Jam session at Atlas Brew Works in Ivy City. We snapped NCTA's Sarah Joy Speaks, ASI Government's Laura Burgess, Forrest Service's Ashley Warriner, USAID's Sara Whiteley, and Georgetown Law's Mary Palmer.
Jammers brought their own instruments, including banjos, violins, tubas and washboards. The jam session lasted all afternoon among the brewery's kegs and casks.
At the bar, Atlas brews were poured, including NSFW, an American Black Ale, and Ponzi IPA. Here, Accenture's Jin Werner, Children's National Medical Center's Elizabeth Belt, yoga instructor Corey Welcher, and musician Maryjo Mattea.
