Bluegrass & Folk!

We went to Kingman Island Bluegrass and Folk Festival, the region's largest local festival, with over 13,000 attendees. We snapped Bud's Collective's Gina Clowes, Cody Brown, Buddy Dunlap and Jack Dunlap.

The fest celebrates DC's bluegrass roots and encourages the community to partake in the revitalization of Kingman Island on the Anacostia river. Here, Hunton & Williams' Carter Coker, Politico's Amanda Gross, MPA's Mary Holland, SIGAR's Smythe Anderson, Adfero's Jean Walton, and Center for Inquiry's Michael De Dora.

Ticket sales benefited Living Classrooms, a Baltimore-based foundation that inspires and educates youth through learning by doing with urban, natural and maritime resources. Here, Lockheed Martin's John O'Sullivan, Virginia Hospital Center's Bridget Corsini, Premium Distributors' Matthew Stevenson, Law Offices of Steven Kupferberg's Abigail Scott, Children's Hospital's Lindsay Pesacreta, Kate Semenoff and Rob Glover.
