We went to Awesome Con, DC's biggest annual comic and pop culture convention. Fans experienced an extraordinary lineup of celebrity guests, tech panels, family activities, and larger-than-life props, costume contests, sci-fi speed dating and gaming tournaments to celebrate all things geeky. Fans of superheroes, comic books, cosplay and other pop culture filled the entire bottom floor of the Convention Center all weekend, which explains why you may have seen Batman browsing Penn Quarter. Some of the best costumes: actors Mike Flood (Green Lantern) and Bill Johnson (Black Panther) with Rebel Legion graphic designer Brandon Bloodworth and Alucard Capulet (Darth Revan).
