Austrian Salute to Strauss Ball!

The hills (of NW DC) were certainly alive with the Sound of Music on Friday night as we waltzed our way through the Austrian Embassy for the Salute to Strauss Ball. We snapped Kensington Pharmacy’s Zeynep Tunc, Chevy Chase Care Pharmacy’s Ellie Darj, and Arnold Professional Pharmacy’s Nareesa McGarvey.

Guests enjoyed an authentic Viennese evening, including live opera, ballroom dancing lessons, including a Grand March, and delicious local desserts; Austrian Apfelstrudel, anyone? Here, Rob Uyttebroek, Sharon Stowe, and Intelsat’s Glenn Barney.

Couples young and old showed off their impressive waltz skills; we tried, too, but only stepped on toes. Here, Humane Society’s Mallory Mlynarek, Austrian Embassy’s Christoph Waldhoer, and Eileen Mlynarek.
