Asian American and Pacific Islander Celebration!

We went to Mayor Gray's Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration at the Lincoln Theater. We snapped him with the event’s organizer, Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs director Soohyun Koo.

There were lively performances with the finest local and international Asian artists, where tradition meets pop. Here, software engineer Donald Kim with the emcee, Fox 5 anchor Annie Yu.

Guests joined Mayor Gray recognizing the 10th anniversary of the Language Access Act. Here, Dean and Amy Lee bookend Chinatown Service Center's Shirley and Walter Woo.
