We went to Cultural Tourism DC's ACTIVATED! Art4All DC Launch Party at CityCenter Friday. The three-week festival will have performances, workshops, gallery openings, neighborhood festivals, and open houses. We snapped rising star and singer-songwriter Marshall Sims, right, with his band’s keyboardist Nathaniel Slight and drummer Cedric Edmon with Cultural Tourism DC’s Helen Gineris.

Emcee and spoken word artist Nina Brewton, Cultural Tourism DC’s Cheryl Crowell, and Goodman & Sons Jewelers’ Raphael Brewton.
