Art Night 2016!

We headed to Hickok Cole Architects' offices in Georgetown for Washington Project for the Arts' Art Night 2016! We snapped art patron Naomi O'Grady and her partner, WPA board member Jennifer Baxter, with WPA executive director Peter Nesbett.

Over the last 16 years Art Night has grown to become one of the premier events for artists in the region with over 100 artists presenting works that are all available for purchase. Here, HITT Contracting's Josh Foreso and Kim Roy bookend ALKS's Valerie Sazonov-Morken and her husband, Boston Properties' Steve Morken.

All of the proceeds from the sale of artwork will be shared equally between the artists and WPA. Here, Washington REIT's Anthony Chang and Mandi Wedin surround Hickok Cole Architect's Robert Holzbach.

While viewing the artworks for purchase, guests enjoyed an open bar of beer and wine. Here, Fairfax artist Kayla Antiel and her husband, teacher Nate Antiel, enjoy champagne while looking at Kayla's pieces on display.

In addition to the open bar, guests enjoyed a spread of various appetizers, including a cheese board and crab fondue. Here, Design Force's Katie Sargent and Paige Felix with Above Green's Vincent Bataoel.

The show had pieces of artwork displayed over four floors in the Hickok Cole space. Here, former WPA board chair Susan Butler and her husband, Dixon Butler, join the Art Show curator's mother, Nancy Rosebush.
