We went to a reception celebrating A World Apartat the National Museum of Women in the Arts. We snapped the hosts: Museum director Susan Fisher Sterling, Danish Ambassador H.E. Peter Takse-Jensen, and director of Denmarks Skagens Museum Lisette Vind Ebbesen.

This is the first exhibit in the US to focus on Danish modern painter Anna Ancher, featuring 41 of her paintings and oil sketches, and more than 20 by her fellow Skagen artists. We snapped Swedish ambassador Jonas Hafstrom and wife Eva bookending NMWA's co-founder Wilhelmina Holladay and (right) associate curator Ginny Treanor in front of an Ancher painting.
