We went to An Evening at L8, for the unveiling of a new downtown lounge. The intimate open bar soiree had passed hors d’oeuvres provided by Barcode and live music. We snapped MoKi Media's Maha Hakki and Arienne Thompson bookending WUSA9's Tevin Johnson.
The upscale, 3k SF venue features two polished chrome bars, 10 tables, shimmering chandeliers and atmospheric lighting and can accommodate a crowd of up to 220. Here, L8's Orlean Outmezguine and Svitlana Boiarska with The Biabani Group's Bo Biabani.
L8, pronounced “late,” is the newest venture from Antonis Karagounis, right, the nightlife pioneer behind Ultrabar, Barcode, Soundcheck and Echostage, and his longtime partner Arman Amirshahi.
