Ami Vitale at Nat Geo Live!

Last night we went to National Geographic Live at Nat Geo HQ to see award-winning photojournalist Ami Vitale take us through her fascinating photographic journey.

During an hour-long presentation titled Rhinos, Rickshaws & Revolutions: My Search for Truth, Ami Vitale showed photographs she took in war zones, in Kashmir, in Africa with white rhinos, and in China with pandas, and talked about why gaining the trust of her subjects was the key to taking great pictures. We snapped her surrounded by National Geographic Society CEO Gary Knell and his wife, Kim Larson.
