1905 is a neighborhood restaurant that offers what Chef Joel Hatton calls “uplifted Southern food.” He’s serving a plate of love at our June 12 Super Schmooze: pork belly with sorghum, mustard and beer salt. Sorghum, which tastes like caramel, is one of his favorite ingredients because he grew up eating it.
