In case you think we only went to inauguration events last week, we also went to The Kennedy Center for The National Ballet of Canada's Alice in Wonderland. Lewis Carroll's classic children's tale had spectacular dances by choreographer Christopher Wheeldon, an enchanting, original score, vibrant sets, and great costumes. The first act features the Drink Me/Eat Me scene, Pig and Pepper, and the Mad Hatter's tea party; the second act is the Queen of Hearts' croquet party and the Knaves' trial. We loved Aleksandar Antonijevic as the White Rabbit.
